Meet The Coomers

Dr. and Mrs. Terry L. Coomer have two daughters Teresa and Jennifer. Dr. Coomer has served as a Pastor, home missionary, Bible College teacher, and as the Publisher of the nation's fastest growing daily newspaper. He has more than 30 years experience as a Pastor and holds four degrees with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, Graduate in Theology, Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Theology degree. Dr. Coomer is the author of the book Rearing Spiritual Children To Serve The Savior, Tongues Speaking in the Book of Acts and I Corinthians, How to Deal With Hurt, How to Have a Daily Time With God, The Most Important Key In Rearing Children to Serve God, Dealing With Anger, How To Have A Real Relationship With God, The Difficulties of Pride In Our Lives, How To Deal With Bitterness, Why We Use The King James Bible and has taught and written extensively on family related issues. Dr. Coomer believes in expository preaching and verse by verse Bible teaching. Dr. Coomer has taught through the New Testament verse by verse in Wednesday evening Bible study. Mrs. Coomer (Kim) home schooled her two daughters and has more than 30 years experience as a Pastor's wife and more importantly as a godly mother, Titus 2:3-5. Both Dr. and Mrs. Coomer have had advanced training in biblical counseling.

The Coomer's oldest daughter, Teresa, graduated from Bible College, May 2000. She is married to Pastor Ron Steege a 2000 Bible College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies.  Ron and Teresa serve together in an Independent-Fundamental Baptist Church.

The Coomer's youngest daughter, Jennifer, graduated from Bible College, May 2003, with a degree in missions and December 2005, with a masters degree in education administration. She taught third grade for two years in a Christian school and is married to Rance Maruszewski. Rance and Jennifer serve together in an Independent-Fundamental Baptist Church.

The Coomer family are veteran church planters and have pastored successfully for more than 30 years.  Pastor and Kim founded Hope Baptist Church February 2, 2010. The girls grew up serving the Lord in a strong independent-fundamental Baptist Church that believes in expository preaching and verse by verse Bible teaching. They learned at home at a young age the importance of serving our Lord, Mark 10:45 and have a heart to serve our Savior.

As a Pastor for many years I have become greatly concerned and greatly burdened over the number of children who grow up not to serve the Saviour from Christian homes. There seems to be a real lack of practical, spiritual, Biblical training going on in this apostate hour. I am also greatly concerned about the number of Christian families that are blowing apart and the tragedy that results from these lives. It is the desire of this ministry to help, encourage, and to provide training and Biblical help to families to not lose their children and for parents to know what it means to be godly parents, husbands and wives.
